#ADA30 NYC Talks: The Accessible Tourism Landscape of New York City at ADA30
August 4, 2020
We brought together the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) and NYC & Company to co-host this information-packed panel discussion on the strides that have been made in turning New York City into a truly accessible destination - and what still needs to be done. Along with MOPD Commissioner Victor Calise and EVP of NYC & Company Jonathan Durbin, we had representatives from Lincoln Center, TDF, the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport, One World Observatory and the Executive Director of the National Veterans Wheelchair Games, which is headed to the city n August 2021. We also featured our colleague Lakshmee Lachhman-Persad from accessibletravelnyc.com with her unique view of the barriers and possibilities of accessible NYC.
